Norma Jean Buczkowske, age 78, transitioned from this life into the arms of her Savior on September 15, 2016. She was born in Ambrose, GA on June 6, 1938. She was a beloved home maker, mother, and wife. She was a long standing member of the Gospel Assembly Church / Mercy Seat Ministries.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Leo Buczkowske; three children, Belinda Henard and husband Jerry, Michael T. Buczkowske and wife Vola, and Robin Stevens and husband Donald; honorary daughter, Lisa Smith and husband John; grandchildren, Brandon Henard,...

Norma Jean Buczkowske, age 78, transitioned from this life into the arms of her Savior on September 15, 2016. She was born in Ambrose, GA on June 6, 1938. She was a beloved home maker, mother, and wife. She was a long standing member of the Gospel Assembly Church / Mercy Seat Ministries.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Leo Buczkowske; three children, Belinda Henard and husband Jerry, Michael T. Buczkowske and wife Vola, and Robin Stevens and husband Donald; honorary daughter, Lisa Smith and husband John; grandchildren, Brandon Henard, Cody Buczkowske, Jessica Bishop and husband Dustin, Ashley Benton and husband Jason, Grace Stevens, Johnathan and Madison Smith; two great grandchildren, Tanzi and Tristan Bishop; and special friends, Greg and Janie Velie, Shannon Perry, Mollie Manning, and Roberta Rogers.

A celebration of Norma's life will be held at the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home on Sunday, September 18, 2016. The family will accept friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with the service beginning at 2:00 pm, with special friend, Fred Huff officiating, and Norma's grandsons serving as pallbearers. A graveside service will immediately follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life II at East Lawn Memorial Park in Kingsport, TN.
